I’ve just updated my photographs – they are all now chairs, more to follow. While in New York i took lots of pictures of broken discarded chairs which i’m wanting to make into a screen print series.

The veg box logo. some good friends of mine are opening an organic fruit and veg shop in north bristol and kindly asked me to put together a logo and identity. here’s the final outcome, a simple but functional logo. the white bar becomes a white space to write in when labeling products or customer info on the veg boxes etc. all the best with the opening guys, and i’ll post up some photos once i’ve been down to say hello.

my russian dolls! finally got round to painting them, i didn’t wanna get to fussy about what went on them, so kinda doddled on them really. there’s still one inside to paint but i thought i’d get a picture up sooner.

was asked to draw loads of envelopes for a friends tattoo design this week, here’s is my favourite.

its been a while since i posted any news up here, tm has been keeping me busy. i have just finished a brilliant book by the brilliant john berger “and our faces, my heart, brief as photos”.
we all read “ways of seeing” in the first year, and i read his novel “G” a few years ago, but this is more of a collection of theories, poems, reflections with no particular narrative. but its got some great lines in it, including this one. hopefully have some proper work to show you soon.

hand cut a phonetic alphabet to help me learn swedish. It will be going on my bedroom wall and as my screen saver until i can say it perfectly

a recent trip to gothenburg city, i discovered these beautiful ‘almanack’ books/diaries in a junk shop. “de blinda i vårt land”.

poster for Martin Lambie-Nairn lecture. he used the word ‘varied’ to sum up his career to date. the result, like the six previous posters, was an exercise in letterpress typography.

the new poster fits in nicely with the six others in the series
